Minions has earned One Billion globally at the box office
According to Universal Pictures, Minions, the spinoff of the Despicable Me movies starring the little yellow henchmen, has grossed One Billion dollars globally at the box office. In total, the movie has earned 321.9 million in North America, and 682 million internationally (source: ew). That makes it the third highest grossing animated film of all time.
Minions features the vocal talents of Sandra Bullock, and John Hamm. The movie is set to open in even more markets soon, so the box office figure should increase. The film is in theaters now around the world.
